KAWASAKI FRONTALE was established at Kawasaki City with a population of 1.5 million, as its home town in November 1996 to contribute toward promotion of sports culture and local community. Ever since its establishment, we’ve been working for healthy trainig of youth and communuty development, and moreover, it joined J.Club in 1999 and we’ve expanded professional football business and advancement of sports.

- Origin of Name
“Frontale” means front in Italian, and it stands for keeping challenge in the front line and playing fairly.
It arranges Kawasaki City flower ‘azalea’, team mascot ‘dolphin’ and symbolizes energy for the world and beautiful coastal city ‘Kawasaki’.
It symbolizes ‘wisdom of giving birth to advanced technology and ocean of coastal city’. Its motif is dolphin because it shows the our object of speed and friendliness. Its name ‘Fron-ta’ was selected by applications open to the public.
It appeared when SMBC Nikko Securities Inc. ( formerly Nikko Cordial Securities ) sponsored KAWASAKI FRONTALE. It was immensely popular among many people and its right to use was decided that it moved to KAWASAKI FRONTALE and it became the second official mascot with little change of color and form. Its name ‘caburera’ was selected by applications open to the public.
